Yeah, that's right, it was already a second one. We did our first before the summer but there was only four of us so we decided to leave for the following semester. This time though, 18 people showed up, most of them having found out just from the flyers on the notice boards - great. I told everyone why we organized this and about the idea of having a group of Christians at the university that would just do stuff for students. We started a discussion and some great ideas were voiced.
In the end we came up with doing lectures on random topics (inviting people that have something to say to it), another activity would be movie clubs, then discussion groups and when the weather is moderate, sporting events.
We're called Zlinska studna, which could translate like Zlin's well. The idea of it was that the word studna could be an acronym for student's opinion, which is what we wanted to be incorporated in there!
We prayed and set a date for our next meeting.
Well, it all sounds good, we'll see how it works out in real.
